Coleslaw

Ingredients:

medium head shredded cabbage
1
medium thinly sliced green pepper
3
carrots cut in strips
1 tablespoon
grated onion
1/4 cup
granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon
salt
1/4 cup
white vinegar
2 tablespoons
vegetable oil
mayonnaise

Instructions:

In a large bowl, toss vegetables, cover and chill. Before serving combine sugar, salt, vinegar and oil. Pour over cabbage. Toss well. Add mayonnaise if desired, a tablespoon at a time, until creamy. Yield: 4 to 6 servings
