Marinated Vegetables
Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) can
drained green peas
1 cup
chopped celery
1 medium
chopped onion
1 16 oz can
whole small green beans, drained
1 cup
chopped bell pepper
1 cup
vinegar
1 1/2 cups
water
1 cup
sugar
1/4 cup
salad oil
2 cans
Water Chestnuts
Instructions:
Marinate the first 6 ingredients in vinegar, water and sugar mixture for 12 hours. Add the salad oil and toss like a salad. It can be served in lettuce cups like a salad or as a cold vegetable. Yield: 6 to 8 servings
