Shrimp And Linguine
Ingredients:
1 pound
fresh or frozen peeled shrimp
1 cup
sliced fresh mushrooms
1/4 cup
chopped green onions
1 clove
minced garlic
1/3 cup
butter or margarine
3 tablespoons
flour
1 teaspoon
salt
3/4 cup
white wine
2 cups
half-and-half
1/3 cup
chopped parsley
4 to 6 servings
hot cooked linguine
grated parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
Saute shrimp, mushrooms, onions, and garlic in butter for 1 to 2 minutes. Blend in flour and salt and mix well. Stir in wine and gradually add half-and-half, stirring constantly to form a smooth sauce. Add chopped parsley. Simmer for three minutes. Toss with linguine and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired. A pasta delight. Yield: 4 to 6 servings
