Sands

Ingredients:

2 sticks
butter
1/3 cup
granulated sugar
2 teaspoons
water
2 teaspoons
vanilla extract
2 cups
sifted all-purpose flour
1 cup
chopped pecans
confectioner's sugar

Instructions:

Cream butter and sugar. Add water and vanilla, mixing well. Blend in flour and nuts, Chill 4 hours. Shape into finger shapes (oblong). Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325 degrees about 20 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool slightly. Roll in confectioner's sugar. A must for every occasion. Yield: 20 to 30 cookies
