Island Stew

Ingredients:

3/4 lb/person
fresh large shrimp
2 tsp/quart of water
Crab boil or Creole seafood seasoning
1/4 lb per person
Smoked Sausage
2-3 per person
Small red potatoes (unpeeled)
1 ear per person
Corn
Crab claws (optional)

Instructions:

Bring enough water to a boil to cover all ingredients. Add seasoning, sausage, and red potatoes. Cover, reduce heat so it won't boil over and continue to cook for about 15 minutes. Add corn and cook for 10 minutes or 15 if corn is frozen. Add shrimp last and cook for only 3 to 4 minutes. DON'T OVERCOOK SHRIMP! Pour in large colander and drain. Spread table with newspaper and serve yourself while it's hot. Be sure and have spicy cocktail sauce for the shrimp and hot butter for the corn and potatoes. Forget about being prim and proper.
